Ive been searching biomes for about 45 mins and I have yet to find an above ground iron ore block. Yet I have found multiple lead, coal, and nitrite ores above ground. Anyone else have this issue or
So i saw a few posts on this, but does anyone have a screen shot of what i''m looking for when it comes to gravel. I''ve spent the last 3 hours mining and not found a thing. Are there certain biomes that don''t have ore? I just need to know what i''m looking for when it comes to the gravel/ore veins, but so far it all looks the same, which is just stone.

FIVE. we mined it to find more behind and and more behind that and more and more and more. we spent the entire day mining that single vein and didnt finish and i have maxed out strength and construction perks with a steel pickaxe. once we finally mined around 95% of it (we hope) we have over 100k gas in shale and wont need to mine for quite a while to come.

Raw Iron can be found above ground in Boulders and rock outcrops, and can be mined underground from rich Iron Ore by using a Pickaxe or a Stone Axe. Stone also drops 2 Raw Iron upon destruction. Raw Iron can be smelted in a Forge to increase the Iron

Had 2 nitrate veins together on a random gen with some friends. Ended up with 216k nitrate, 64k lead, 57k iron, and 34k shale after spending 2 full game days(4 hour days) mining. Needless to say, but we had a lifetimes worth of nitrate after that. Filled my entire truck with stacks and burned an entire stack of kits to repair the pick.
Mine raw iron ore gt; smelt in forge gt; process into forged iron bars or scrap iron as needed. As an aside, scrap iron is already incredibly abundant in the game. How do ore veins work in alpha 18. Things have changed since alpha 17 and getting all ores out of one block. Now they are all in surface boulders with a specific look. 7 Days to Die. All Discussions Keep digging following those gravel blocks through the ground. You can hit huge iron veins easily 10 to 20 blocks down. You''ll likely run into other ores When mining for other ores, I almost always run into iron in the process, either near or actually intertwined in the ore I''m mining. #3. tintellaar. May
